Tell me about Islam

Islam is the religion of all prophets and messengers. Islam is not named after a human being. The word Islam describes a relationship between the human being and the one who created him. It simply means: submit to the will of God. Muslims love and follow all the prophets and messengers of Allah (God). However, they only worship Allah (God). This is the definition of a believer. God says “…. and the believers every one (of them) has believed in Allah, and His Angels and His Books, and His Messengers. We make no distinction between any of His Messengers…” Quran 2:285.
Allah is the Arabic word that means God. If you open an Arabic Bible you can see the work in chapter 1, book 1, verse 1. The five mighty messengers that Allah sent to human beings are Noah, Ibrahim, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad may his peace and blessings be upon all of them. Muhammad is the last and final messenger that God sent to earth. The final message from God is documented in the Quran which He revealed to Muhammad peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. All messengers called people for exactly the same thing. The message never changed since Adam was created and until the judgment day. The message is “And not they were commanded except to worship Allah (being) sincere to Him (in) the religion…” Quran 98:5. Muslims don’t only love all messengers and prophets but they love all the companions of Prophet Muhammad and all the righteous people in general. They love every person who loves Allah.
